Not to many marking for me to base my search off. I know it might have been made in 39/40, it was either made as or converted to 30-06 at some point. but that's all I know. I'm not sure if the rifle was made as a sporter or if it was converted at some point.

there is a 50 on the back of the firing pin assembly and the SN is electro penciled onto the left side of the receiver. no markings of any kind on the top of receiver.

this is under the receiver.

the only other markings I can find is 856 at the front of the floor plate the following pics on the trigger assembly.

it has german proofs so it was a military k98 converted into a sporting rifle,cant tell from the pics but dose it still have the stepped military barrel.
 
If you removed the scope and mounts it may have a manufacturer code on the receiver top or it may have been removed. Looks like WaA 655 on the trigger which is early war Mauser Oberndorf.
