mauser

I have picked up a few from tradeex over the years. He has a 'stocks' column under 'products' on the website.

Also have a Bell&Carlson carbolite bought from Epps. Not particularly light, and the fore end is flexy, but a good fit ... both the inletting and the feel. I opened the barrel channel, stiffened it with a couple v8 engine push rods glassed in, and glass bedded it.
Shoots lights out now at around 1/2 m.o.a..

LOVE my Swedes.

1942 Husqvarna

I have a 1942 husky 6.5x55. I assume it is an m94? It was bubba'd when I got it and I'm looking for a stock. Any experiences, comments, advice? Something light. Help!

In 1942, Husqvarna was building m38 short rifles for the Swedish Military. They also started on the production of m96 long rifles for the FSR Civilian shooting movement.

You have not said what rifle this is, sporter or military. Trade Ex has some military stocks, and a few sporter stocks. If it has a 23.1 inch barrel it is a m38. A m96 had a 29.1 inch barrel.

If it is a Husqvarna Factory Sporter, it will have the Husqvarna name, calibre, and serial number on the barrel. The military rifles have the Husqvarna name and date on the receiver ring, and the serial number on the left side of the receiver. I suspect your rifle is of Military origin, as you have given the date of manufacture.
