mav 88 deer slug range?

hey guys, if i were to attempt to hunt deer with the mav 88 with 18.5 inch barrel and used brenneke slugs what would my maximum range for blacktail deer or black bear be? think i could still do a 75 yard shot? would i have to buy a longer barrel?

I'd try and keep it inside 50 with that short of a barrel. Definitely nothing over 100.

I'd keep it under 25 personally... The mossberg 500 barrels fit and I have a 28" that I use for hunting. Check your hunting regs, here in BC "shotgun only" areas means no slugs, multiple projectiles only.
