Maverick 88 heat shield

Any canadian retailer recommendation for a Maverick 88 heat shield?
I'm already sick of burning myself after shooting.

I found some retailers but not many canadian one that has it in stock. Some say the part has to be custom fitted. I don't know what that imply. I just want to screw the damned thing on and be done with it.

It is a couple of years ago now, but I bought one for my Maverick 88 at Cabelas in Winnipeg. It fit very well right out of the package. No "custom" fitting at all.

They don't sell it anymore unfortunately.

I'm thinking you're best bet is Brownells, even if they show them out of stock, just back order it , they restock often and sell out just as quick.
Go for the factory one and get the kit , it'll save you the trouble of putting the parts needed together.

Like Greenhorse six said, Brownells is a good place. I just checked and they have them in stock for $26USD

There are other American websites who have them in stock as well, but I can't find any in Canada unfortunately.

So, just to update this thread. I found one for sale on a Canadian website. I bought the ATI heat shield without sights. Who need sights with a shotgun anyway haha!
