Maverick 88 questions

Hello all...

I have Googled this but can't seem to find the answers -

1) is the butt stock solid plastic, or hollow?

2) has anyone ever weighed one? weight with and without the butt stock?

3) are there longer ( ie they reach back further to the shooter ) forearms for Mavericks?

1 - Hollow, like almost all synthetic stocks are.

2 - It is very light. I imagine actual weight depends on barrel choice, but specs should be on manufacturers website. It is something definitely advertised.

3 - No, the forend cannot be changed on the Maverick, without buying a bunch of Mossberg 500 parts to allow, Mossberg 500 forends to fit.
