Anyone know where you can obtain these ? The Maverick Arms website lists them, but they won't ship them outside the US. My Shotgun is kind of annoying out in the field without a sling.

I bought a set of Uncle Mike's studs from wholesale sports last year. Worked just fine. The key is to look for the Mossberg 500 studs, they're what you need.

Any big-box outdoors store that sells guns ought to have them.

So Did you purchase the Uncle Mike's Qd Magazine Cap Swivel Set ? It says it fits the Mossberg 500, but I wanted to be sure it actually fit a Maverick 88 most of the stuff is interchangeable I know, but for 30 bucks I want to make sure.

Yup they should fit fine, when I had a Mav 88 I used the Mossy ones. :)

OK I ordered the QD sling stud from Wholesale sports, it includes a stud for the front that screws into the barrel and a stud for the rear attached to a longer screw. How did you guys install the rear stud ? Did you drill a hole in the square spot at the back of the stock and then just screw it in ? Did the kit come with some kind of tool for screwing in the stud ? Thanks for the help

I believe that is the kit I bought.

The front stub comes with a washer and a little tube of thread locker. The rear you drill (in the square spot) with the size bit indicated in the packaging and simply screw in the stub with a wrench. No special tools required.

Relax, it is exactly as easy as it seems. :)
