There are NO restrictions for rimfire rifles, Same rules apply for a rimfire pistol as a centerfire pistol 10rds.

The maximum for centerfire rifle like mini 14 for exemple, it's 5 round if my memorie's good....I've asked myself the same question about that, cause i've just ordered a Marlin 7000 from S.I.R. and it has a 10 rnd mag....happy to know that it's not the same thing with rimfire rifle!:)

Has a 10rd mag but doesn't mean you cannot have a hicap. I mean a ruger 1022 comes with a 10rd mag, but I got 50 and 30rd mags.

The mag-fed rimfire that I know of with the highest capacity would be one of the Casull 290s (a forerunner of the American 180 design); 290 rounds in a little pan mag on top of the rifle, sort of like a Lewis gun. The American 180s are prohibited (even the semi-autos), but the semi Casulls would still be legal, since they're not a following "variant".
