Just bought the following
Arisaka Type 99 Last ditch
Arisaka Type 2 paratrooper
Arisaka Type 99
Arisaka Type 33
My question in the forestock on the paratrooper needs a repair along with a crack in the wood. How, would one go about to repair it?

Picked up a semi-restored Zulu shotgun from a board member - the Zulu being a cut down French Tabatiere rifle converted to a shotgun, and a Tabatiere being a muzzle-loading Mle 1842 musket or Mle 1854/57 rifle converted to breech loading using a pretty close copy of a Snider breech. It's still got a shotgun barrel, but the stock was spliced underneath the barrel band to make a pretty decent facsimile of a Tabatiere - it's not a real Tabatiere, but for what I paid for it, it looks pretty neat hanging next to my Snider.

I also picked up from Joe Salter an Ottoman Military Police FN 1903 pistol, which although only purchased in small numbers was one of the only pistols issued to Ottoman forces (the only other being a similarly small contract of Mauser Broomhandles for the Ottoman Navy). It's well used, and missing the lanyard ring and has a replaced grip screw, but otherwise original and in very decent shape, plus super rare! I love the intricate Ottoman script all over it.

Finally, I picked up a decent M91 socket bayonet with locking ring off EBay. Interestingly it fits beautifully on my M91, whereas my M91/30 bayonets with the spring-loaded plunger are both too tight to fit, and fit fine on my M91/30s. Obviously the M91 barrel is slightly thicker, has anyone else experienced this?

The Polish M44 was the rifle that inspired me to get my Firearms license in 2004.. they had them at Milarm in Edmonton, and thought it was such a nice rifle, and would be neat to have. By the time I received my PAL.. the M44 was no longer in the picture.. or on the back burner so to speak… Well the light turned on again, And I was lucky enough to get this from a fine CGN member..

Being of Polish decent.. it only made sense to get one.
