Quick reminder/dedicated thread about the steel challenge match on the 25th, It has been moved from its usual weekend because of the conflict with the IPSC qualifier so now people don't have to choose!
Shooter registration is from 9-9.45am and the shooters meeting is at 9.50 with shooting to begin at 10. This is a full 8 stage steel challenge match where we shoot 4 stages in the morning and 4 in the afternoon with a quick stage change over at lunch.
Your first gun is $15 and your second is $10. We have all the IPSC/USPSA classes as well as .22 iron sight pistol, .22 optic pistol and .22 rifle. The only restriction is no wildcat or magnum cartridges (this includes 10mm) for ricochet and damage to the steel reasons. Juniors shoot their first match for free as well.
Rule/Match Policy Change
All matches will now be considered "lost brass" matches until the match has been cleaned up. We have been having an issue with people not staying to clean up and the people who do stay to clean up end up getting none of their brass back because the people who didn't stay scooped it up. Brass picking will be punished severely.... more details when I decide exactly how that punishment will work.
I encourage everyone to get a steel challenge association membership, that why when I submit scores they go on your profile and you get a classification. Also I am working on running a provincial or Canadian championship match this year which requires a steel challenge membership if it is the Canadian championship.
Our sponsors are http://www.mdgardner.com/ and he carries pretty much everything you need for competition shooting except a gun. Also he is one of the only people in the area to carry DAA products which are my personal favorite. For bullets come to http://shooterready.ca for a steady supply of CamPro bullets at cheap prices.
