Here is the situation.
CFC verifier says its a 12(2). Uzi was placed on consignment at a local, small sporting goods store. Consignor died. Family is disinterested. No local 12(2) qualified prospective buyers. Powers that be are putting pressure on the store to do something with the gun, get it cleared from inventory. I was approached about deactivation. If you have 12(2) and are interested, send me a pm, and I will supply contact information for the store.
If you are interested in it as a dewat, I would suggest that you would have to make arrangements to have it transported to a gunsmith licenced to do the deed, and to sign off on it.
