Maybe a re-post, but just curious what my fellow hunters think of this video.

No. I do not agree. Its unsafe and stupid. As stupid as the originator of this video is thinking blocking his face at the 1 minuite mark will make us forget that at the 50 second mark his face is totally visable. Putz.

The ricochet is insane. Never would have thought it was like that. Shooting way beyond their ability and wounding deer. Very irresponsible. I watched this with a bunch of guys at a friends place and was a little surprised at the reactions of some of them. Some thought it was the coolest thing they ever saw. People like that remind me why I like to hunt alone.

Apparently it was pulled from youtube once already and they were smart enough to upload it a second time. And this is just a short video, most likely been doing it a long time/still.

That is disturbing.

It's bad enough when we have idiotic shows like "Best of the the West", with a bunch of jerks shooting at game animals at 700-800 yards or more, and then having the gall to use the term "ethical" when talking about it. There's nothing even remotely ethical about shooting at distances so far that bullet flight time is measured in seconds...they can certainly shoot, but they can't predict what the animal may do or how it may move during that time.

But the :bigHug::bigHug::bigHug::bigHug::bigHug::bigHug:s in this video take the cake. In addition to the unpredictable variable caused by the time delay...they can't shoot! Totally disgusting to watch.

Using tracers is kinda cool. If they were expanding hunting ammo I wouldn't be so concerened.

Kinda hypocritical since they are using a 50 cal, and it is going to make a 1/2 hole in whatever it hits, but I did hear one of the guys say that they weren't very accurate.

Isn't all hunting ammo supposed to be "soft point"? It might be illegal to be using hardball tracer even in the jurisdiction where these guys are from.

One mile is a little silly , the potential to wound an animal is very high . As a lifetime hunter I see our way of life constantly under attack and videos like this do not help.

I don't hunt, never have. If I did it would be with my bow... And i still probably wouldn't. Just Doesn't seem fair to me to use a firearm. That's just my opinion tho. I can understand why people do it and know its some times needed to conserve a wildlife balance. But These guys are complete fvckin clowns.

I believe by the reaction of a few of those deer kicking that he did indeed wound some of them. How many probables did he have and yet he only shows us two recovered. This is irresponsible hunting at its finest.
Myself, i find 500yds to be extreme range for 99% of us. Money and technology do not buy skill and ethics.

This is not cool. This is not hunting ....and destroying car in the river!!!
Stupid A..holes.
They should be prosecuted for harassing game animals.

I'm not a real hunter - but then neither are these inbreds. Good demonstration at why you don't shoot at water though. Some peoples existence has no other purpose but to serve as a warning to others. Its these uncle f()<kers that do and post this idiocy that has the antis parading around saying that nobody should have firearms.
