Miroku of japan makes most browning stuff.
We won’t buy the over priced winchester mirokus because of the lawyer embellishments but the browning blrs are excellent in quality, workmanship and accuracy as well as being the strongest lever action made.

Looks like the 20ga model?

The BPS is my preference for a pump action, followed closely by the Ithaca M37. It has the smoothest action hands down, and unlike the 870 or 500 still feels like a quality, built to last firearm. The tang safety is about the only thing I'd change.

I'd be interested to hear how the recoil is with the straight stock and no recoil pad on yours.

I'm currently using a BPS Predator.
 
The browning are good guns however they don't fit everyone as well as some other makes do so one has to make sure before buying and they are not easy to totally clean
Taking the trigger out without some experience is quite an event for most
My 16ga bps has the upland stock and I like it

Good choice for an upland gun. I hope it's a 20ga! :)

I've been looking for a 20ga pump myself and was considering a BPS. Found a very good deal new online but a used Browning M12 20ga popped up locally, so went with that instead.
