I ran an AdTac for a short while. The barrel-mounted rail was a good idea and solid. It was accurate and reliable with most bulk, but I found it extremely noisy with the included muzzle brake and even when I removed it and replaced it with a linear comp it was still annoying and velocity over the chrono was quite low, as to be expected.
The BC hunting regs are what finally sent it down the road.

I'm currently running a Whistlepig Acculite 12.5" barrel that I imported and it is fantastic...Well cut chamber, crazy light, accurate and legal to hunt with in BC. It's the silver barrel in the bottom pic.
I have no personal experience with the McGowan barrel but I am sure they are good quality.
Rumor has it Dlask currently has a Carbon Fiber TD barrel in the works for possible release in the new year...check out their thread in the dealer section for more info.
