MCK trigger guard rubbing

I just got hold of an MCK for my Glock 19 off of the EE. Neat little rig for the cost. Only problem I have with it is that with how abbreviated the grip is on the 19, my middle finger is jammed right up against the MCK trigger guard. I am expecting once I start shooting it that this will become uncomfortable pretty quick.

Has anyone else noticed this? If so, has anyone here modified the tigger guard on the MCK to alleviate this. It looks as "simple" as trimming it back, but it also looks like it is a big part of anchoring the Glock into the chassis.

Okay, I had an OCD type episode. I decided for what the chassis cost compared to other ones, what the heck. Out came the high end gunsmitthing tools; a Princess Auto belt sander and hand file.

I tried to see how much it would move with the trigger guard wrap from the chassis before I did anything. I would not call it a rock solid anchor for a 200 yard shot, but pretty solid for the 50 yard max range I will shoot it on. Next I started to removed some of the guard wrap. I was worried the chassis was hollow, but it was solid. I cut back about 1/4" to 3/8" and then tried it again. No more knuckle rubbing and no perceived difference in the stability mounted in the chassis. Just need to take at it with some fine sand paper and it should be good to go.
