McMillan or AI

The major difference is all factory-made stocks are thick, bulky, and heavy. The TS1 offers the versatility and comfort of a hunting stock - slim forestock and butt, light, and fully adjustable to the shooter. I've had HS Precsion, McMillan, etc. They don't come close to the portability and ease of use as this stock does. For me being comfortable in any position is better than just a good bench gun. As far a price, you're getting a taylor-made custom stock. Suck it up!

You can get McMillans with various fills and make them fairly light. I for one, hate slim forestocks, not to mention the angle of the grip on the TS1 looks terrible for MY taste, as everyone has their own preference. To spout these features as benefits is incorrect, they're your preference.

Doesn't sound like the OP is looking for a hunting style stock. I recommend handling both and see what you like.

I have personally shot with the TS1 as equipped and advertised. It's a great rifle, shot as it should, leaves nothing to be desired overall,(double the price it should be though, it think it's a 5-6000.00 package myself) but I have equipped my rifle differently for my personal tastes. It's a great stock, for 1250, functionally it's ok for the price. I do prefer the A5 and the AI, both for looks and feel.

I would not over look Manners stocks. I really like my T2 and T4. Also intrigued by the Terry Cross KMW Sentinel stock.

Big Horn sales and Hirsch Precision are great to deal with. I think Corlanes is the Manners Canadian dealer but I am sure several people could import one.

Wasn't Manners the most used stock in US PRS in 2015, according to Precision Rifle blog?

Manners, McMillan......Ford, Chev......Apple, Android........take yer pick. Personal preference reigns supreme. Try a few out.
