I want to do my M305 up M25 style. I see that Springfield uses a McMillian M3a for their M25s. So how good are the McMillian stocks? I know they're expensive, but are they good?

Cheers,

I have my Springfield in the long range stock with the pistol grip. No complaints.I'd take a look at the Robertson line.

Mildot,

You're using the M3a and not the M2a right? It looks comfortable for long range work. Hows the quality?

I called Robertson and they don't do a stock for M14 type rifles.

I'm using the M2A, the one with the pistol grip. I like it. It has a nice feel with the pistol grip. I'm in the process of adding the Rooster33 cheek piece. I ordered mine in woodland camo, I think that if I had to do it again I'd do my own camo job.Other than that the stock will accept the hvy barrel, and of coures you can "bed the action". I like McMillian stocks, having owned both McMillian and HS Precision. I will say that the fit and finsih is slighty better on the HS Precision. Hope this helps.
