i dont know if im in the right section or not but i was just wondering if you can order right from mcmillan or you have to go through a dealer and how long does it take to get to canada

thanks

I've ordered from 24hr, but have also ordered a few right from McMillan. Mine have been delivered between 12 and 20 weeks... Stocks for Remington actions are usually the fastest.

when do you pay for the stock when you order it right from mcmillan?

They charge you 10% up front, the remainder when its done, or you can pay it off at any time before that.

Also, they have some deals on their specials page you may want to look at...No wait for those ones...

yeah i want an m40 stock but cant decide on what marble finish i want i want an arctic pattern to match my guile suit but dont know how it will turn out i also would like one blue and black...

That arctic camo is some kinda sweet lookin. so theres no hassle when ordering them because they're firearm parts or anything? you just call, pay, and they mail it or what?

McMillan takes care of the paperwork, for a $25 fee...

if you want a McMillan and don't want the wait check out jwprecision.. he carries a good inventory and ships to Canada... his prices are the same as McMillan and John is a great guy to deal with.....

I have ordered 2 McMs from John and will order my next from him as well. He has many in stock ready to ship, or can order whatever you want. Good guy !

That too is probably a good idea, though for my dollar, part of the reason I order a MCM is to get EXACTLY what I want, totally customized...not paying 600 bucks for 99% of what I want on the in stock equipment.

I ordered mine on Jan 29. Rick Bin from 24hr Campfire emailed me on April 28 to let me know that McMillan has shipped my stock. This is my first McMillan and I think the turn around has been pretty good.

You're lucky. I've been waiting over 5 months for mine. It turns out McMillan has the wrong programming for PacNor's barrels and are waiting for them to send them their entire line.

Best prices will be from their one-offs, or through a group order. As mentioned, 24hrCampfire is good as well, although you won't get the chance to be picky. :)

The prices are pretty even otherwise.

I'm slightly disappointed in McMillan though. Jerry from Mystique installed my action, and the gap on the left side of the barrel is narrower (I had factory pillars installed). Jerry did the best he could though! :)
