I have an McM.

If the quality of work I received is indicative of paying top dollar, then rest assured, I will not order from McM directly (or indirectly) again.

Jerry at Mystique Precision bedded my rifle. He can vouch that my barrel did not line-up with the barrel channel (and it's still crooked), and IIRC, he had to grind a bit of material so it would free-float.

Even a top stock manufacturer like McMillan can let a lemon through, and if you had returned the stock they would have made good on it. Their customer service, like their products, is above par.
