Want to build a Remington MCS style 870.
We have been working this year to bring you as many of the original parts , manufactured by us as possible , as well as designing a next generation of compatable stocks forends and barrels.
A lot of work is going into these products as we want to make them all reverse compatible with the original while exceeding the quality and fixing some of the design faults.

One of the questions we keep getting asked is what about barrles.
We are working on this , but as we manufacture in Canada, we can't cut and modify barrles, we have to make them from scratch...

Again, this is a massive undertaking, but we are gathering the resources to do this.

All that said, the gun industry is in a bad state right now with massive government overreach.
So we are not moving forward at warp speed, but we are moving forward.

As we roll out each of the MCS products, priority will be given to the clients that have already placed ordered with us..
If you want to see more MCS products from us please spread the word or even better buy some of our MCS products

Thanks for the update. I have the raptor grip and its been great, just waiting for the black magpul sga stock from you. If you do a preorder for those i'll order one right away. As always your products are great and keep up the great work!

Wow! That’s a huge endeavour!! Looking forward the more MCS + barrels! You are killing it this year with new products and stuff in the pipeline.

Dlask barrels are terrific, but they are so slammed with other projects. I look forward to putting an S&J barrel through the paces next to one of the Dlask barrels!

I know it may be some time before we see them but will the barrels be geared toward 870s that were modified to the original MCS configuration with the 3 round mag tube length or will you be manufacturing some for the regular 870?

I'm sure barrels for the original MCS configuration would sell no problem to those that already have a modified 870 or an actual MCS but for those that have regular old 870s there's two barrels lengths that have been manufactured before but we lack a steady supply of, the 12.5" and there was one a little over 16".

The 12.5" is a nice compromise for those that want the shortest length possible on a regular 870 receiver without having to get any modifications done to the shotgun and it sits flush with the magazine cap and still kinda has that short MCS look to it.

And then the 16.25" or 16.5", I'm not sure what kind of demand you'd get for it but I'm just thinking of your MCS Pachmayr Vindicator grip. This would make the shortest non restricted length using that grip possible.

Just wanted to throw that out there to see what you thought...

On the road right now so limited time to reply.
But in short, both. Standard and MCS configuration are planed. As it,s the same amount of work from a production point of view.

They're fine, but they also weigh a ton.

I do wonder why Dlask makes so few at a time, doesn't seem to make sense in terms of economy. They could easily run 100 barrels at a time and sell them over time. Instead they make 10 guns and no extra barrels.

Anything S&J makes that I don't have I'll be ordering. I had most of a set, but I would buy a 14", a SGA in black, and a threaded 11" for the brake I have.

Thanks for the reply. Look forward to this, it'll be nice to have some more options available on the market.
