At first glance she's looking like a tarted-up SU-16 that doesn't fold... I'd take one for a whirl!

You gotta love the marketing behind the "ranch" rifle. For every one working Rancher that would ever purchase one there are approx. 1200 suburbanites buying one, but, meh, whatever, when is a quick handling short-barreled carbine ever out of style?

Who knows, maybe Justin and the golden gals of Poly will permit us ranchers in Canada to own one, after all there is no pistol grip or shoulder thingy that goes up.
At the end of a long day at the lab we know that optics are everything and this one certainly looks more ranchin' than saltin'.
A cowpoke in Carharrts and a ten gallon hat looks way more huggable than some bearded fella in tactical gear at a 3-gun match.

I like the concept of this Rifle a lot. I don't have much use for a rifle chambered in 5.56, but if it was chambered in .308 with a NR barrel length I would be interested. There is now a Gap in the market left by the Ruger ranch rifles, someones got to fill it.

it's 3K USD. Ain't no rancher in his right mind gonna buy that when he can get an AR or Mini 14 for less than 1/3 the price.

I just don’t see anything here that can’t be taken care of with a Henry or Browning lever in 223 or 308. Or even a Remington 760/7615. Any of which is 1/4 to 1/3 the price of these. If you really want to go tactical fugly you could always find one of the Browning BLR Black Label’s with the 16” barrel, muzzle brake, and rails on the hand guard.

Can always hope we get it. Benelli MR1, AR & MCX smashed together.

Yeah, reminds me quite a bit of the MR-1, except it has (in my opinion) a better stock by the look of it.

Edit to add: just watched another video on it. Basically catering to those jurisdictions with prohibitions against pistol grips, etc. (California comes to mind). Now the bad news for us Canucks…it uses a standard MCX upper, so it’ll be prohibited, no matter how many ranchers and farmers they put in the add.
