Contacted MD about switching the trigger in my P226 from DAK to the factory Sa/Da. They were patient with me and sent me a quote, along with instructions on where to ship my pistol. I also told them that my Sig had a few FTEs in a couple hundred rounds, I asked them to check for function while they had my pistol.

Two weeks later I get a email saying they are finished with it and will be sending it back soon. I paid for the trigger swap over the phone (the exact price they quoted), and waited to get it back.

When the pistol finally arrived, I was shocked that it was so clean! It even smelled nice, not sure what they use but it's great. Then I open the paperwork and find that they replaced the extractor, pins, springs and even a new trigger bar! All under the Sig Warrenty. I had the pistol out last night and not one FTE in 200 rounds.

A big thank you to Tim Ellis for doing the work on it, and Sacha Kucey for helping with the paperwork. I was a fan boy of Sig before, and even more so now.

Cheers
Jerad

Thanks for sharing this, I am about to fill out the forms and send in my Sauer rifle for some TLC due to occasional weak primer hits. When I mentioned that I would do so only after the whitetail hunt, the reply was classic "Good luck and I love the loin"

IMO, this speaks volumes of a good attitude. Sadly, no deer.

Great to hear this. Do not buy grey market sig because there is no warranty even though some importer tells you they will export it to u.s and import it back. They never do it.

Had an issue with my 226 slide and they handed me a brand new slide and barrel ect. No hassle from a grey market importer. That being said though I've had a negative experience in the past with MD they had a opportunity to redeem themselves with a different issue I had and knocked it out of the park. Currently very happy with MDC

I had an issue with a cross threaded cap on an AimPoint red dot ... from Edm > Ontario > returned to my mailbox ..one week. Great service for a good product.

MD Charlton fixed my M&P40 the same day I contacted them, they didn't ask for a receipt or anything.

I also purchase their cast bullets lol
