MDI SLR - Lightweight BCG

As we know, not all parts are compatible with the MDI SLR. I was really hoping to run a lightweight BCG in my SLR, so I bought the 2A Armament Titanium Regulated Bolt Carrier (RBC). Unfortunately, when it came time to put my BCG in the upper, my excitement turned to dread.

The 2A Armament Titanium Regulated Bolt Carrier (RBC) is not compatible with the MDI SLR.

So, the RBC will likely be up on EE shortly, and now my search begins to find a lightweight BCG that is proven to be compatible with the SLR.

Does anyone have a proven lightweight BCG that actually fits, runs, and is compatible with the SLR?

Hard to explain, but the BCG binds on either side of the bolt cam pin is. Won't go in at all forward, when I put it in reverse, it goes most of the way in, but stops once again when it gets to the spot close to the bolt cam pin....

Have you tried another bcg? Is it getting jammed on the gas tube? Is the barrel indexed properly? I had an issue with a bcl reciever that had enough slop that a barrel index pin could rotate a big and prevent things from lining up properly

Yes I have, a BCG from a Colt LE6920 fits with no issue.

And the 2A BCG fits in the Colt.

That sucks. When I get home later today I can try a V7 titanium & a JP Enterprises Ultra LMOS in my SLR. But given that their tolerances are all over the place, what works in mine might now work in yours.
