MDT 21 -how does it marry up with a Timney trigger? any problems with the safety?

I was wondering if anyone could let me know if the Timney is compatible with the MDT 21 chasiss? Will the safety still be operational? Open to other triggers if they are a better marriage to the platform. Looking for something around 1lb, still keep the safety. Thanks

I have a 2.5# Timney with safety on my MDT. Had no problem installing it and works just fine.
