MDT chassis buffer tube.

I know nothing in buffer tubes, what's the difference between a mil-spec tube an a commercial one, which one is abetter choice for an MDT HS3 chassis for a savage rifle?

Not sure which one is better, but fill it with a Mercury recoil reducer.

Normally you don't use a buffer tube on the HS3 chassis. You use a fixed stock like these;

If you do go the collapsible buttstock then find the one you like and then match the tube to it. The difference between Mil-spec & commercial is size.
