MDT chassis for tikka t3 varmint .308, opinions????

I have a lite in a HS3. It's very nice to shoot, if you add a magpul stock and a qd swivel on the side it carries slung very comfortably as well. Their customer service is outstanding. For reasons I couldn't figure out, the rifles accuracy was terrible with the first chassis they sent me. So I let them know, they replaced it and now the rifle shoots outstanding.

Vortex PST 2.5-10x44, it weighs 8 or 9 lbs without bipod if I recall correctly. I'll weigh it again when I get home. Great compromise rifle for mountain hunting and long range. Could be a bit lighter for the mountains, and heavier barrel would allow longer shot strings in long range. But thats what compromise is I suppose. It's in 300 WSM, the 308 AI mags work with it, just have to tweak the feed lips a bit.

The pic is from shooting some long range in the foot hills a few weeks ago.

I have a custom built on a Stiller and my shooting partner has a T3 Varmint in 308 both mounted in the MDT HS3 chassis with their skeleton butt stock. Outstanding accuracy, build quality and customer service. I really like this chassis, it's adjustability, reasonably light weight and ergonomics seem to be spot on for me. And it was a great price!

While it is impossible to argue with the build quality of a cadex. I find it pretty easy to argue with the weight and the starship trooper ish look of them. ohhhhh and the price tag.
