Mdt elite cheek piece

Anyone running one of these? how did it improve over the standard? Love the ACC but I always come home from the range with a pretty good cut on my lower jaw right by my ear protection. Seems to me there was also a picture of an ACC on the website with a nice cover over the cheek piece.

I started running that cheek piece last year. I don't remember there being a large difference. It does come with the soft material.
