Planning on upgrading my scope to a higher power night force or leupold with a 50mm objective but my issuer is that I have a 40mm objective on a 30mm/1" ( not to sure) tube with warne high rings. I only have maybe 1-2 mm of clearance between the scope and rail. I know they've started making the chassis with out the forward rail for this reason but would like to know of anyone has had any luck getting around this issue

Try higher rings, or contact MDT about the new style forward rail..........or you could simply dremel/machine away some of the rail to give added clearance.

I was going to machine off a section of rail, but got one of the new fore ends from MDT.........

My scope has a 56mm bell and I use Ba dger Ordnance High rings......
