Just wondering if anyone has used these before? Ordered one and sending it back for a replacement. Recoil lug is deffinitley not sized anywhere near big enough to match the reciever, and the front screw barely gets 2 threads into the action (lots of room before any issues with bolt clearance). Good customer service once I called and they are going to send me a new one. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with them? Should I be just going to a Mountain Tactical or $$Area419$$ Thanks in advance.

I have used Near pic rails on several Tikka rifles, got an MDT as well, what I don't like about the MDT is it is thicker and places the scope higher than the Near offering. Price is right though, I think I paid $50 plus tax.

i own a MDT and everything is A1 the lug is the correct size and shoulder at the right place. i paid 50$ and i recommend it.

Their chart is not very clear. They refer to the integrated recoil plug as one solid piece of the rail such as the lip that would brace against the rem 700 action. The tikka one has a separate stainless steel lug pressed into it. So contrary to the chart the rail does have a recoil lug.
