For years i have vehemently decried the lack of QC at Remington- Marlin.

Last week at SFRC they had a sale that put this rifle at 995.00, at this price i have chanced it and i am glad i did,
The rifle is perfect, action is smooth, ejection is stellar, feeding is awesome, finition is very well done.

This 444 Dark is a very clean rifle with a good trigger and it weight in at around 7 pounds.
I thought ide say that, at this kind of price it's sure i was going to make a run for it. Good job.

60 rounds of Lever 265 grs, action is smooth, no issue.
444 is a very robust caliber and the recoil is heafty, the paracords on it is usefull on the lever especially. This caliber would take any animal i hunt with facilty.

I quite like the Marlin DARK series. Glad to hear your 444 is performing well. I was happy to see them bring that chambering back

I’ve been a fan of the .444 for a while. Shot a nice bear this spring with mine with cast and powder coated 325gr. Obviously, it blew right through and he didn’t go far.
