Measuring lee enfield barrel tip up-pressure

I'm working on my rifle accuracy, and wondering what the best way to measure the pressure applied by the stock to the tip of the barrel is.

Clamp the rifle down. Hook a fish scale to the muzzle. See if the barrel lifts off the forend at 2-7 lbs?
