Ok, so here we go again about the tongue is out or not out. For you people who need it explained and probably the reason that Fall Guy mentioned it, is as follows: Tongue in cheek (excuse the pun) has to do with giving the animal which you have "harvested" some form of dignity after death. That is the difference between making it look as though you "harvested" an animal, rather than "massacred" the ####ing thing. I know the end result is the same OK, the animal is dead. But how you portrait the event goes a long way to speak of your "sportsman" like conduct or lack thereof. Levi, you seem like a very respectable sort of fellow, so I don't buy the bull#### about going to a park to see a clean deer. Not all of us here are stupid, yes blood is involved, everyone knows that. There is more to keeping our hunting heritage that writting letters as is suggested when coming on to this forum. How about behaving like true "sportsmen and sportwomen" - in due respect to our female counterparts, and posting tastefully composed pictures. Not meaning to preach here, but could you wait for 1/60 of a second until AFTER the picture is taken to guzzle a beer, tuck the tongue in or cut it off, maybe try to clean up some of the blood. Some people have actually suggested how to do that. Think about some of the stuff that we've seen on this board lately, buddy falls out of tree stand, buddy shoots buddy, idiot shoots elk 8 times, hunter shoots woman in park. Sure makes hunters and gun owners look like the biggest bunch of morons, don't it. Jesus H. Christ , (sorry 'bout that Lord) can you imagine the "antis" festival after reading this all this #### and seeing these tasteless pictures. Anyhow, enough said, once again I don't mean to preach here, but maybe posting pictures in good taste and not busting someone's balls (or whatever ladies) over doing so may go a long ways to put us all in a better light.
