I've got a mec 600 jr in 12 gauge. I'm having a problem with the resizing and primer remover assembly. The steel rod that attaches it to the rest of the loader is bent. What are my options besides spending $60 on another 12 gauge kit. Where can i got another one?

I have a similiar model. Versa Mec. You could order a new rod from MEC. I on occation find the it hangs there as well. It seems to just not line up with the hole that the primer presses through. Try wiggling the hull as you pull down the arm, just to help center it.

Why not try an email to MEC. If you explain the problem I am sure that they can supply the required replacement parts for a lot less than $60.00.

I just got the same press from my father in law and it had the same problem but it was the bolt that was bent, a standard 1/4" x 3 1/2" or so machine bolt, got one at the local hardware and alls good.
I would check it before ordering parts.
