MEC 600 Slugger to Jr., Possible?

No- the Slugger has no provision for a shot bottle, and has very different crimp dies from the Jr. You could conceivably buy all the parts from MEC, but it would cost more than a new Jr. and going from one to the other would likely take at least an hour to do. Used MEC single stage presses fetch between $100 and $200 at local gunshows, so the expense and hassle would be hard to justify.

Thanks for the feedback!
So the Slugger is more picky with hulls than the 600 Jr? How so?
Could I reload slugs on the 600 Jr. Just as effectively, or almost, on the 600 Jr.?
I'm looking at loading 80% slugs and at most 20% buckshot.
Would buying the Super Sizer be necessary or recommended for either press?

Use a 600 Jr to do everything but crimp, use a roll crimp head (search Amazon) in a drill press to roll crimp. Or if you're using the Lyman giant airgun pellet style of slug you can fold crimp. The 600 does a good job of resizing, by all means get a Super Sizer if you want but I don't see it as a necessity.

Nice, I might as well just get a regular 600 Jr. and roll crimp for slugs.
Just how effective is the slugger crimp vs a roll crimper?

Humm, so I was browsing YouTube and came across TATV CANADA.
He's making 12ga dies and other accessories that will fit 1 1/4"×12 single presses such as my Lee Classic Cast.
Might just buy his stuff!
