MEC Marksman

I used one for a few years for prs. Run out was good with anything I tried reloading in it. .001-.0025". Solid press never had any complaints. I still have it but swapped to a Redding T7 for the convenience. You can pull the adapter bushing and run 1-1/4" dies.

I bought a MEC press when they first came out. I had a few problems. the adapter bushing or the press itself was drilled out of perpendicular. Resizing a 223 case was like trying to get a square peg in a round hole. Contacted MEC, and they must of been aware of the problem. They had me send a photo of the top of the press. Had a replacement press sent to me right away. This was out of the US. They paid for all the shipping and customs concerns. Which was very nice , as shipping a 25 lb press would of been costly. Also the handle on the press was quite cheesy. Thay replaced that. I feel they went right to the production model without testing out a prototype. Or they farmed the press out to a second party and got poor quality control. The warranty dept was outstanding to deal with, no issues at all. Probably some of the best customer service I've ever gotten. Wish my car dealership was like this.

Well I got one. Finish on the casting is a little rough but not really a big deal. So far I have loaded 100 rounds of 45 colt and very happy with the results. Pulls smooth and just a bit of slop but compared to my ancient Lyman it is night and day different lol...

I like the floating shell holder but it can reposition as it is loose but no big issue. The primers fall into the tray with only a couple missing and ending up on the floor. I haven't run any rifle brass through it so I will see how it does. Also I bought the stand to mount it with and really liking that set up.

I have been running one for a couple of years now, good quality solid press with only a couple of quirks. Some how the flap that stops the spent primer from bouncing out of tray got bent and backed up, easy fix. The handle tends to come loose and tries to turn. Other than that it gives accurate consistent brass sizing and I will continue to use it until it wears out which could be a very long time and yes I do a lot of loading for target shooting.
