MEC shotgun loading press bottles or substitutes

Where can I buy the plastic bottles for the MEC shotshell loader or what is a good substitute ???
The bottles get a bit "crispy" over time and start to disintegrate with little or no notice!!!!

+1 on Humasson manufacturing. They will have them together with everything MEC.


Cheap alternative:
Shampoo and conditioner bottles from TRESemme, available at walmart.

Thread is good and bottles are stonger than the original mec ones.
Bottles are not clear but white but you will be able to see the powder and shot levels.
They come in different sizes, don't buy 2 of the biggest ones because they won't fit side by side.

I dropped a piece of steel on my Mec one time & broke both bottles, never could find a sub with identical threads but after a few yrs looking, found a Mec set on the EE

I've purchased a number of items directly from MEC,including bottles,bushings,steel drop tubes and replacement bolts for the MEC 600 jr's that I have in 12,20,28 and .410.The gentleman that filled my order was very helpful and was able to pick my items while we spoke on the phone.

From memory,I believe he stated that MEC would be tapering down their inventory of replacement parts for the older,original MEC 600 jr's.

I just had a memory thought from about 20 years ago. So if it does not work blame the 20 year time frame

I think the 1 lb metal tins of powder have the same thread as the plastic bottles

The mec bottles I am pretty sure the new ones have additives in the plastic to help with static

WRT the static: wipe them with a dryer sheet on occasion .. problem solved.

Bottles: seen some in stock at bass pro in Halifax this past week
