Media in flash hole

I just got a tumbler, long overdue... But I dont want to deprime before I tumble...

I did a batch last night and noticed that some of the flash holes in my .45acp brass had a piece of media stuck in em. Will that matter if I go to deprime them? Or will the decapper just push the piece of media and the primer right out. Just dont wanna break a decapping pin....
 
Happens to me all the time with 9mm. I worried about it and tried to pick some out. After 20 minutes to clear 10 cases I tried, slowly, to just deprime it. Didnt notice ANY difference and the rest is history. 6000 + rounds and plenty had media in the flash hole and I have yet to have a problem
 
I've always deprimed & neck sized before tumbling so I have to clear the flash holes afterwards. Not a huge deal but still it all takes time.

Is depriming & resizing after tumbling an issue with rifle brass like 223 or 308 when it come to clearing the flash hole? I'd hate to break the decapping pin in my die???

I guess my question is ...... is it safe to do this with rifle brass too?
 
I`ve always tumbled before depriming and have never had a problem. i have a dillon media brass seperator so brass gets tumbled shaking the media out. i also turn the cases upside down in my loading block and give them a tap before placeing them in the die.
