The RCMP has finally got back to me regarding my application 8 months later... Now they are asking for a medical release form to be signed. I've gone into get it signed and my doctor is reluctant as he is Anti-gun. He stated to me that he is not an advocate for guns and that he would have a bias opinion on filling out the form. I have not seem him in 4 months now and he has now asked to hang on to the document to look into it further for whether or not he is actually obligated to fill out the forum for me. 1 - I am now worried about handing in a form if it is completed by my doctor because of bias views from a person I've only seen 6 times and have discontinued seeing. 2 - If he does refuse the document, how is this going to hinder my application? Will the RCMP still proceed or am I SOL and now have to try again in the next 5 years? thx.

Ask your doctor if he would fill out third party request for a ### person or a black person or a woman. You are evil guns are evil and Your doctor is evil.

His personal opinion on firearms has nothing to do with your medical condition. I would let him know I plan on filing a complaint with the college of physicians and surgeons if does not perform his duties in an unbiased manor.

This.

Absolutely unacceptable for a doctor to claim personal opinions as a reason for not filling out a government-issued form.
I'd be livid.

Find another doctor.

You could always call the RCMP and explain that your doctor is anti and that he might let his personal opinion on guns drive his pen and that " he has now asked to hang on to the document to look into it further for whether or not he is actually obligated to fill out the forum for me."
Same goes for a not so good separation from an EX she can say whatever she thinks of you and let her emotions get in the way. Just call and explain

Stupid gun laws...

"I don't have a regular doctor anymore. I did, and I listed his name if you'd like to call him, but I've seen the man maybe a half-dozen times in my life for viral sickness or physical injuries, and don't even know his first name. I don't know how his opinion or my medical records have anything to do with starting a new hobby."
