Hey all

Got this scope for my creedmoor - thought I would share with everyone as
The meoptas are not well known in these neck of the woods.
Specs
6.5 cm reticle - illuminated dot
Sfp (Ffp also available just not my thing )
4.5 - 27 x 50 - 30mm tube
Exposed turrets - zero stop on elevation only

Glass is very nice and clear. Pick up light very well even during dusk
Turrets feel good, nice feeling clicks
Scope tracks as it should

This scope is on par with minox ( I have one to compare it to )
I like it more then vx3
Just my two cents.

Interested in these for sure, it’s my understanding the made the zeiss Terra line? Great scopes

Not sure where this one was bought but you can get them on optics trade eu

Optics trade sent me this one - delivered in under 72 hours - wow we can’t even get a package across Canada in that time
Good service, I would have no issues recommending them

Normally I would pick it up myself while travelling, but that’s been impossible at the moment so had to go through them to keep it simple.

These scopes are definitely an underdog in Canada

If anyone wants more pics or has questions let me know

Yes they have wonderful glass, just as good as the top three big name scope companies. This past autumn (2021) I hammered this B&C antelope buck with my custom 240 Weatherby Mag. Great optics are a plus for wide open Great Plains big game hunting.

That’s a nice buck
Which scope and reticle did you choose

I’m surprised he did not see you - he has a pair of binoculars around his neck in the first pic

I’ve been using meopta scopes for 25years now, can’t fault them.
Just bought last year a 3-12x56 mv mcwhorter reticule for my 308.
Grabbed it from optics trade also

The scope is the Meostar R1R 3-12x56 4K reticle. Binoculars are the Meostar HD 10x42, awesome clear, crisp glass! Biologist's state that the North American Pronghorn Antelope have binocular vision. It was a one mile stalk and he was shot around 150 to 175 yards, his vision did not help him any.;););)

The 56 mm I very nice and let’s a lot of light in. I would have gone with that one too
But I wanted a bit more magnification just in case

Light gathering attributes are superb during dusk and dawn time periods. Contrast is second to none. Up to 12 power/magnification is plenty for hunting, however not good for my old eyes at 300 yards and beyond, when shooting at 1" bullseye at those distances. However, I did correct that issue, I had Staples make-me-up 3" bullseye targets for 300 plus yards. Case in point, Staples is much less expensive for making targets than elsewhere, accompanied with your choice of paper thickness.

Thread hijack: It pays to be in good term with the printing shop guy... many years ago, asked if they ever had reject "stickers" in bright color?
- Next thing you, I got a box full of rolls with a printing error

I would have considered a R1 model, but they don’t come with parallax adjustment sadly! Meopta seems a very nice optics company. Their spotting scopes look very interesting for the money!
