Meopta vs Nikon

Anyone have input on nikon monarch 7 vs meopta meopro HD? I'm looking at a set of binoculars and can get them used for a similar price. I currently have monarch 5 binoculars and like them. I have a meopro scope and really like it as well. Anybody have experience with both?

Nikon is no longer making scopes, but the monarch 7's were known for great glass for the dollar. Meopta also makes very nice glass, apparently supplying zeiss with some glass or components.

Youd probably be happy with either, Id go with meopta over nikon though depending on model/magnification/price though.

Don't know if you would be making a wrong choice with either in this case. Meopta would likely be my choice as well though. Have had products manufactured by Meopta for other companies and liked everything that has come from them.
