Meprolight sights

Does anyone have a Meprolight tritium sight on their shotgun? I just bought one from Brownells for a project I am working on and I must say I am less than impressed. In a pitch black room I can barely see it even after letting my aging eyes adjust. What are yours like? Do I have a dud? I tried to get a pic with my camera but on the longest time exposure I can do it didn't register the sight

Most cameras wont be able to pick up the light but it should be nice and bright. Mine are crisp and highly visible in any low light. Id say you got a dud which does happen. It happened with an NEA tritium front post for my CZ. Hopefully Brownells will do a replacement for you.

From what i've read, the reviews have been mixed and less than reassuring if your looking at the meprolights, I wish trijicon would drop some tritium sights for the supernova.
