THE INTUITIVE RIFLE: HELIX NOBLESSE

The Helix is the latest bolt action rifle in the MEM range from Merkel – it combines state-of-the-art hunting rifle construction with functions that set new standards. The true linear bolt action rifle works blindingly fast with a transmission unit. Neither the bolt handle nor the cylinder breech move towards the shooter’s eye – the system housing is closed at the rear. This creates perfect conditions for bolt action shooting.

The magic words as regards the dismantling of a hunting gun without tools are ‘take down’. With the Bolt Barrel system, MERKEL has perfected the classic take down and implemented it in series production in this class for the first time. This gun can be dismantled almost down to briefcase size in three steps. Even less experienced users will be able to do this within a few seconds, quickly reducing the RX.Helix to a convenient size for transporting.

Check out this great video which shows how easy it is to do a barrel change:

Wow I've gotta say that pricing is way more reasonable than I dreamed of. I've been watching Ian Harford hunt with this rifle all over Europe with Team Wild and I would have expected it to be a few thousand more!

Its kinda icky euro cool.
Meh, I'd rock one!
Are these a stocked item now? If special order what type of delivery times are we talking about...

We have a display/demo rifle in the store that is not for sale, we do have a few models on order for stock as Merkel deliveries are very slow. Let us know what you are interested in and we will be please to quote you price and ETA.

Do they have any accuracy guarantee? What is their acceptable drift to scope zero after you remove/install a barrel?

I will forward your questions to Merkel and post their reply as I have nothing listed. Judging by the standard of workmanship I would expect sub MOA accuracy. I would be very surprized if there was more than 1/4 MOA difference when changing a barrel back.
