I was looking at Mesa Tactical website and they specify that they can ship to NATO countries except CANADA :(

Does anyone know of a Canadian supplier of the adapters? I was looking for a Mossberg M500 (high or low).

Is there anyone else in CANADA handling the low tube MESA TACTICAL ADAPTER as I can't seem to get in contact with CQB SERVICES. I left a PM and he maybe hasn't checked yet.

Me neither. Oh well theres always Questar.

But with the price of the price and availability of the Remington Brobee adapters it might be easier to just get a Remington 870!

Just a follow up to this thread. I called Mesa Tactical and it seems that there isnt a good distributor in Canada. shame their product looks good, and for the most part would be a money maker for anyone importing them.

The popularity of the AR15 stocks & grip accessories will only fuel this demand :)

Mesa explained that they were told that their accessories were limited by the CDN gov? Maybe they just need permits? In any case the cheap ATi stocks are available as well as other crap, but the good stuff is just out of our reach.

I know people are willing to pay the extra few bucks, that or maybe the guys making the Brobee will look to expand to other models?

The problem at hand is not the distribution but the fact that Mesa Tactical is not willing to do the paperwork, that has forced me to find someone else to do that for me, and even then things do not happen overnight just because I or any other person will it to be so.

Question: Are these adapters RESTRICTED in Canada?

Maybe its just the export permits from the US side, although their website states that:

Mesa Tactical's shotgun accessories are subject to export restrictions administered by the US Department of Commerce. Broadly, we can ship without an export license to NATO members (except Canada), plus Australia, New Zealand and Japan. Even though a license is not required for these countries, there are record-keeping requirements with which we must comply.

Maybe were just not a big enough market :(

No they are not restricted. The US has put export restrictions on alot of shotgun parts lately. They most likely don't sell to individuals because the paperwork would be hell. Dealers bringing them in is much easier for them because it is one set of paperwork for the whole order.

Surprisingly there are very few restrictions on gun parts being brought into Canada, it is the US that restricts there export.
