Metal 5.56 VZ 58 mags?

Does such a thing exist in Canada? I don't want to convert to AR mags and I must admit my plastic factory mags are wearing poorly. I tried searching as this seems like something that should have come up before, but I guess not.

I don't think that will work as the 7.62 mags have quite a curve to them which probably won't agree with 5.56 that has next to no case taper.

Yes, but you're only loading 5 rounds - the body curve (actually anything below the feed lips) doesn't really enter the equation.

I can assure you at the moment metal mags for 5.56 do not exist

Are the mag wells even the same on a 5.56 and 7.62x39 versions? Wouldn't a 7.62x39 mag be smaller than the 5.56 mag?
