With the good news we got today, I grabbed the 858 out of the cabinet and decided to put the solid stock on it. The rifle to my knowledge always had the side folder on it. Anyway, its obvious I'm missing a spacer between the stock and the receiver. Is there any place to source this part? Is this part required for the fitment of other aftermarket stocks? Thanks!
* It is possible the RCMP have lost this part while it was stored in Surrey Exhibits for 8 months or so and the solid stock was returned loose since the safe was destroyed. Hopefully it's replaceable.
