Building a 9mm AR using a QC-10 Colt lower and was wondering if anyone knows if the Metalform aftermaket Colt 32 round mags pinned at 10 are legit here?

Those would not be, as they are not manufactured specifically for a pistol. Even if they were so marked, the RCMP's standpoint has been that you cannot take an existing long magazine, block it to 10 rounds, and call it a "pistol" magazine, as there was no change to the manufacturing process for this ostensibly "rifle" magazine. This is why all 10-round pistol magazines found in Canada are deliberately manufactured at shorter lengths so as to unquestionably demonstrate there was a deliberate manufacturing change to make the distinction.

There are a small number of RRA 10/32 pistol-marked magazines in the country which apparently passed muster but I don't know the legal specifics about them. It appears RRA dropped them in favor of cut-to-length 10 rounders in steel.

Yes the LAR-15 9mm mags. I like the long profile tho! oh well
Looks like Glock frame so as to use their 10/31 pistol mags I guess....maybe better off that way. Could probably use 40Cal long mags too and get more cap with 9mm in it!!! :D
Thx for confirming!!!

Does anyone have any experience with the ASC pistol mags? I'd like some 10 rd mags but I'm reluctant to deal with them given their history.
