Hey guys,
I'm looking to have some nice adjustable sights installed on a kimber 84m, something like a hooded barrel band front sight likely soldered on because i have a lightweight barrel and a rear sight to match. I live in northern Ontario but do go down south a few times a year to see some family, I would also be willing to ship canada wide if I have to. All that being said does anyone know any good gunsmith that do this kind of work or have any suggestions?

Would you mind posting some pics if you get a minute, would love to see how it turned out
This is all I have from an old phone. I sold the rifle a few years ago. I temper it was a bit hard for me to get a good cheek weld. I really had to squish my face down on the stock.

I have a Kimber 84m with irons and I find the same thing. The stock really is intended for scope use. The irons are barely usable, but nice to have as a last resort.

Yeah I would imagine so, kimbers have such high combs for scope use, thanks for posting the pics.

I'll look up Jason as well and see what he says, thanks

I definitely prefer peep sights, if there was a way I could have a peep that didn't interfere with a scope should I decide to put one on for longer range work that would be ideal, might be a hard pass tho if it involves a big rail on the rifle as I'm not a fan of that look on a slim sporter

You could look at something like Brockman peep that is a part of a talley base. They are hard to find. Or a removable NECG Peep but you’d need a tall front sight. I think their sourdough or partridge front sight insert would work.
