Anyone out there have any luck with ordering parts for their Non Restricted Semi Auto TNW MG34?

I am looking at getting a couple of spare parts:

Ejector rods
Ejector Plates
Assorted Springs
Bolt Roller spring clips
etc...

I have looked at BRP Corp and at TNW, and they seem to have the parts...

Do they have an importer? Will they ship these types of parts North? Will I need to use Questar?

Just trying to get my TNW up and running properly and having a dickens trying to source parts in Canada...

ANY help appreciated! :)

PS:Anyone here in Canada with some MG34 parts for sale???

Are those parts specific to the semi, or will originals fit? I ordered mg42 parts from marstar not too long ago. Perhaps they have your mg34 parts in too?

As for sending "semi-auto MG" parts up north, i too am looking for an answer to this question. MG parts are on the US's no-export list, however we have semi-auto mg's up here. I emailed one exporter with no answer, i wonder if Questar would have an answer?

It's almost as if they will send the gun, but not parts for it, very aggravating!

I sent questar an email, here's the reply:
In order to answer your question about these parts having an export ban the only way we would know for sure is if we were to try and apply for a permit.
Having said that due to the type of parts involved and the ease with which
the semi parts can be confused with auto parts We have a company policy of
not dealing with this type of part for non-LE or military customers. The
headaches and problems are just to sever for us to deal with.

Your best bet is marstar

Contact Marstar.
They are the distributor for TNW.
They also supply the kits that TNW uses to make their guns.

How many rounds through your TNW MG34?

I think Marstar is bringing them back in June (TNW MG34's and Parts) as it was on the Marstar Forum recently.

I have about 50 rounds through it.... Albeit, the most I ever had fire and extract properly in a row was 5....

I know this gun inside and out now. I know what the problem is (ejector rod too short, maybe need new ejector plate too), I just want to get a tune up kit for this girl so I can lighten the trigger pull from 30lbs, to... well.... less than that anyway, and so that it will eject rounds properly and stop stovepiping!! ;)

I have heard that news from Marstar as well, but... like all my hopes and dreams of pallets of 8mm, BD44 magazines, and spare parts for my Semi MG-34 and BD-44, it seems to be a pipe dream for right now....

BTW: I am not trying to bemoan Marstars efforts, I just know that Government Inaction, red tape, and fiddling can delay fun stuff indefinitely... :(

about 3 years ago I needed to replace a part on the left side plate of my semi browning 1919 little part that guides the extractor

tried every licensed us exporter and was told NO MG parts allowed for export

ended up finding a guy with one 10 mins from my house....

That is also for the 1919... Which is on the US "No Import" list... being that it is a former US made and issued military firearm...

Hopefully this isn't the same for the MG34... Though, I am sure it will probably be the same answer....

"That's for a MACHINE GUN!!!!!" :eek::eek:

Gotta absolutely LOVE that eh . I am really intent on trying to find a way to legally tap into the source of "infinite gun parts" aka the US in regards to semi-auto beltfed parts that just "so-happen" to also fit the MG for which they share the same external appearance with.

I mean, what did they do for the AR-15 (+ variants) rifles? They appear visually similar to the original fully automatic M16 in the very same respect as the "semi auto 34's" do to the MG34's. Yet their parts are not instantly proclaimed MG parts upon first sight ...
