mg34 question (it's a milsurp right ?)

Hi I was just wanting to know if the 34 will fit in a post war lafette tripod, Mg1-3 and others. Apperently the 42 fits in post war mounts and the 34 and the 42 shared the same mount. I just need some clarification. Thanks

The 34 does NOT fit the post-war mounts. The cradle for the 34 and 42 is NOT the same. TNW does, however, make and sell an adaptor to allow you to mount a 34 into an MG42 or MG3 lafette.

Note, however, that the remote firing mechanism won't work properly and the optical sight accessories may not fit.
