MI Garand ammo belt works well for SKS 5 rd clips

I was looking for a way to carry my 5 round clips and tried them in my M1 Garand ammo belt .
It will hold 100 rounds of SKS ammo on 5 round stripper clips and they can be pulled out easily .

I split my stripper in the middle and I can make 2 out of them. It does look like the belt would work well

I cut mine right where it starts to form the spring portion of the clip .As I wanted a bit of material left on mine to hold on to .
I used yellow duct tape so I can find the clips after.
I tried out the ammo pouch yesterday and it worked great even in the prone position.

Where'd you score that ammo belt?

Given how you cut your clips (I use red paint on mine) it doesn't look like it would work too well in 5 rnd pouches for the M1903 and M1917?

Bought it for my Garand off the E.E $45 Shipped ...I am not sure how they would work in the other pouches .
