Whats the general thought on these for tavors. Are they worth $170 Im looking for a bit more length to add a bi-pod and have no gunstores close to actually take a look at one. Does the FDE actually match up pretty close with a FDE tavor?

Cheers!!

Black on black here, so cant comment on colour. I have typically been the guy that bashed aftermarket handguards after trying the GHW TMF. I hated the way it changed the angle of the grip, felt un-natural and I think it was a poor choice unless you were mounting a AFG or vert grip. But the MI XL is amazing in my opinion and I love how you can really get up on it and run it like an AR. I initially thought it might be to big to do a good proper c-clamp, but its just right. I love it. It stays....

I also have the hand guard in black. Was well worth the money for me gave a bit more real estate up front for changing grips and resting the rifle on bags at the range.

When I tried PVPP's, I found the keyholes on the bottom awkward, as my fingers kept slipping inside. I would only run it if using gloves, or filled those in with something. Otherwise its an inferior grip to the OEM hand guard. Looked cool though.

I'm loving the handguard , puts my light right where I need it and I find the rifle more comfortable to shoot with my hand a little further forward. Can't comment on colour tho.

It makes it look more space gunny.

It gives you more space.

It adds more weight.

Honestly for bipod use I never had a problem with a factory handguard rail. But for lights & lasers, the keymod makes a difference.
